Assembly of BRYZA Soffit

EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE OF THE SUPPORTING STRUCTURE

The soffit should be mounted to the supporting structure made of dry impregnated wooden battens with minimum dimensions of 25mm x 50mm. The structure should be properly levelled. The maximum spacing should not exceed 40 cm. It is recommended to mount the soffit boards perpendicularly to the wall surface. The assembly should be performed in the ambient temperature over +5 °C.

Assembly of the soffit board to the batten

Soffit elements are mounted to the structure by means of stainless nails or nails secured against corrosion with the minimum length of 20 mm and minimum head size of 8 mm. Nails should be driven perpendicularly to the ground in the middle of the mounting holes leaving around 1 mm clearance (in order to enable the compensation of changes in length due to temperature). The perforated soffit should be mounted as every third or every fourth panel in order to obtain proper ventilation of the roof.
